Konsthantverkarna shop and gallery is in the lively Söder district of Stockholm. We show a uniquely broad selection of contemporary crafts and always have a wide range of exclusive objects and beautiful utensils. All objects are made by our members and represents the best of Swedish craft today. We have work made in all the classic craft materials such as glass art, ceramic and precious metall and a few unexpected ones as well.
Our gallery reflects the ongoing development of contemporary crafts in a regular programme of exhibitions. We show work from invited artists and our own members throughout the year.
Konsthantverkarna was founded in 1951 and is Sweden's oldest crafts association. With our 93 members from across the country, we are also the largest. We have represented Sweden's foremost craftsmen for more than sixty years and have built our reputation on bringing the latest and most interesting work within the crafts to public exhibition.
Konsthantverkarna is a meeting place where through lectures and presentations one can encounter modern crafts and it’s practitioners. We also accept bookings for special events such as private showings of our current exhibition and meetings with our members. For more information on this please contact us.
